Founded in 1999 by good friends Max Glazer, Kenny Meez, and Cipha Sounds, Federation has become a worldwide force in Reggae music. After Cipha left to pursue his work with Funkmaster Flex's Big Dawg Pitbulls Kenny and Max continued on and built what is one of the most creative sounds in the business. Known for their wicked arsenal of dubplate specials, exclusive remixes and crazy vibes, Federation rules the dance hall.

Along with Max Glazer and Kenny Meez, Federation is Alric & Boyd (Fame FM, Jamaica) and Disco D (Rest In Peace). Representing Brooklyn, Philly and Jamaica the Federation Sound continually push the music and the message, spreading the vibes... all over the world.

Pleasing the masses with music is a mission for new york city's DJ MAX GLAZER. along with his FEDERATION sound system, he has controlled the vibes at all of new york's hippest hot spots. max has dj'ed parties for diddy, naomi campbell, missy elliott, 50 cent, branford marsalis and jay-z, just to name a few. with a unique combination of hip-hop and reggae flavor max glazer has become world renowned for pushing the envelope and bringing the two styles together with unmatched creativity and energy. max glazer and the federation have also worked with some of the biggest names in the reggae business... sean paul, baby cham, t.o.k., & vybz kartel, among others. THE FEDERATION has taken their sound worldwide, rocking parties in england, scotland, ireland, germany, france, finland, australia, japan, jamaica, and spots across the globe too numerous to mention.

Not content to just heat up the clubs, max glazer and the federation also keep things hot in the studio with remixes galore! from the dancehall remix of pharell williams' "frontin" to beyonce & baby cham's "crazy" to usher & baby cham's "yeah" remix, max glazer and the federation have vibes galore. their mix cds are known worldwide and have led to the release of 2 official albums, MAX GLAZER presents DANCEHALL CLASSICS on sequence records and SERIOUS TIMES on xl recordings, both of which received rave reviews from the press worldwide.

After locking down clubs all over the world, in 2005 max glazer embarked upon a new venture as musical director/tour dj for barbados born pop princess RIHANNA. working with rihanna from the release of her breakthrough single "pon de replay", max put together all the music for her live shows as they travelled around the world promoting her albums, "music of the sun" and "a girl like me". alongside rihanna, max has performed on some of the most famous stages in the world... london's wembley arena, new york's madison square garden and radio city music hall, jamaica's sumfest stage, and even touched down in africa, thailand, trinidad and barbados, among many others. he has also appeared with rihanna on numerous television shows including mtv's trl, video music awards, live with regis & kelly, all my children, the tyra banks show, and many many more.
